QUESTIONS
Before you trust MertAGI with the work.
Direct answers about authority, money, responsibility, data and autonomy. Anything missing? Ask MertAGI Operator or write to us.
The roles remain clear. Your company stays the seller and remains responsible for its goods, customers, tax, customs, returns, warranties and chargebacks. MertAGI remains responsible for its own service, security, data processing and duties that cannot legally be excluded. Every external action is authority-checked and recorded; the service agreement governs the final allocation.
No. MertAGI prepares transaction records and accountant-ready outputs including DATEV-EXTF, ZM, Intrastat, XRechnung and ZUGFeRD. It does not provide tax advice and does not replace signatures or filings that must be completed by an authorized person.
No. Trade funds remain in your company's bank or payment accounts. MertAGI can initiate supported payments within the authority you grant, while authentication required by the provider remains with your authorized person. Your trade capital never becomes the prepaid MertAGI fee balance.
Processing locations, subprocessors, transfer safeguards, model-data policy and the data-processing agreement will be published before merchant access opens on 1 September 2026. The current website does not create a merchant account.

The estimated fee is reserved before paid work. It is reconciled and earned when customer funds have cleared and your delivery obligation has been satisfied. Later returns, refunds or chargebacks do not reverse it.
Yes. Your documents, ledgers and records are exportable in standard formats, with GoBD-aligned retention in mind. Notice periods and the exit process will be set out in the service agreement.
Yes, within the authority you grant. Each type of work can be set to advice, preparation, execution within limits or full autonomous operation. Full operation covers actions that can legally be delegated and are supported by the connected provider. Statutory roles, non-delegable signatures and provider authentication remain with the authorized person.
